This Science series have the purpose of training on the teaching-learning endeavors proper to this field within the sciences. In this book and in its activity workbook, you may conceptualize, grasp and apply the skills involved in science as sustained by the ethical and moral principles that one should take into account while undertaking any scientific research. You will also
learn about the study of life and the diversity of the organisms that inhabit our planet.
The books are organized into fifteen major topics, developed in chapters that highlight your interests and daily experiences. In your book, you will also find the sections entitled Civic and Ethical Education and Environmental Awareness, which are the crosscutting axis that govern our series.
Furthermore, you will develop your skills by working as a team. You will reflect on the effectiveness of moral and social values, and the importance of making an effective contribution to the development of our environmental awareness.
Other sections with which you may work are In Focus: Metacognition, Home Connection and Checkout List.
The latter will help you review aspects studied in each chapter and which you must not forget. On the other hand, you may work on laboratories, which are fundamental when studying scientific processes.
